3 Step Method to Attracting Customers to Your Business

Ready to attract more customers to your business?

You’re gonna need a funnel.

Now, before you run for the hills, a funnel doesn’t have to be complicated or complex. It’s simply an intentional journey that you’re guiding your customers through.

Attracting and converting customers is essentially all a business is. So whether you're just starting out or looking to grow your business, it's essential you have a solid strategy in place.

In this blog post, I’m sharing my simple three-step funnel for attracting, nurturing, and selling to customers.

The first step in attracting and growing an audience is creating awareness of your brand.

The easiest way to do this is through attraction content on platforms like Instagram, Blogs, Youtube, or Podcasts. This is SEO-rich content that you *know* your audience will be searching for online.

To start this process you need to identify your target audience and their problems and goals. This will help you tailor your messaging and marketing channels to reach them effectively. You can also leverage other people’s audiences by collabing with comparitors (people in industries similar to you but not direct competitors)

Step 2: NURTURE

Now that you've created awareness of your brand, the next step is to nurture your leads and move them towards buying from you.

This is where you provide value to your potential customers by showing them how your brand or service is different from your competitors, and how you can help them overcome their problems and reach their goals.

  • One way to do this is by creating educational content and perspective-shifting content. This can be in the form of blog posts, webinars, podcasts, or e-books. By providing valuable information, you establish yourself as an authority in your niche and build trust with your potential customers.

  • Another way to move your leads towards the consideration stage is by offering them a free trial, demo, or consultation. This allows them to experience your product or service and understand its value firsthand. You can also use testimonials and case studies to showcase your brand's success stories and social proof.

Step 3: CONVERT

The final step in the process is to convert potential clients into paying customers. At this stage, you want to make it as easy as possible for potential clients to make a purchase or sign up for your services. You need to have a compelling offer that addresses your potential clients' needs and provides them with a clear path to purchase.

Some things to make sure you include:

  • Clear, regular, calls-to-action: Include clear and prominent calls-to-action on your website and in your marketing materials.

  • Free trials or incentives: Offer free trials or demos of your products or services to encourage potential clients to try them out.

  • Testimonials and proof: Prove you can do what you say you can by providing clear social proof and feedback - share results and stats of success stories.

In short, attracting, nurturing and converting customers is a process that involves building awareness and trust with your brand, having clear journeys to take them from ‘browser’ to ‘buyer’ and ensure your marketing plan has regular sales content inviting them to buy.
