Are you wondering how you should be spending your time if you want your business to grow?

What should I actually be doing?
Is this a question you’re asking yourself regularly?
Stumped to know what ‘being an entrepreneur’ should actually look like on a practical day-to-day level?
Well, that is a big question.
It’s also something I spend a lot of time with my clients on. Working out the things they should ACTUALLY be doing each week to grow their business.
It’s so easy when you’re starting out to focus solely on the things you want to do, like; delivering your actual service, creating social media posts, going on stories, checking your bank balance, celebrating your wins….you know, all the fun and attractive stuff!
Building good habits
In order to help your business grow and move towards your goals, there are some habits and tasks that can be useful to weave into your schedule.
Want to grow? Here are 5 things to spend time on in your business:
Follow your leads (not the yellow brick road)
Check-in with your leads. Follow up with any DMs or prospects you’ve been chatting to and warm them back up. Spend some time updating your lead tracker (even a simple spreadsheet will do) and get to know where you’re at with your customers.
Create a connection withcontent
Send out some nurturing content – this could be in the form of a blog, a video, or an email sequence. It’s content that will nurture your community so they don’t forget about you! Be sure to give a sense of you, your expertise, and links to your sales pages so your community builds a deeper sense of connection with you.
Put time aside for product development. Your new programs, courses, and offers don’t just spring to life suddenly when you think about them. They take time to create and implement, so reflect that in your calendar.
Show up
Visibly check in with your community. Each week you wanna be going live on either IG or FB to speak directly to your community *take a large inhale-exhale if this instantly gives you the fear!*. This gives you a chance to listen to what they need from you, ask questions about what you can develop in terms of products to support them, and gives them a better understanding of you as a human which is so important to cultivate connection!
Selling isn’t sleazy!
Last but not least, you have to make time to SELL! Yes, you should be selling at least once a week if you want to make money in your business. Feeling queasy at the idea of selling? Read my blog on how to make sales your way.
